The Story of La Bruja
Long ago, a man named Wayland was paid to transport toxic waste. Instead, he dumped the barrels in the woods beside his family’s shack. Over decades, the poison mutated the family known as the Bush Lads. One girl developed terrifying powers.
They called her La Bruja. The Witch.
One Halloween, while she was still a girl, a clown startled her at a circus. The crowd laughed and taunted until she screamed:
“DON’T LOOK AT ME!”
Fog swallowed the circus. Within it, the performers transformed into monstrosities and massacred the audience. La Bruja fled into the forest, the Twisted Clowns forever bound to her.
For generations, she unleashed her horrors each Halloween season. But the poisoned ground that sustained her also held her captive.
Then Julian Graves found her.
Heir to the company that hired Wayland, Julian wanted the secret of her unnatural longevity. She wanted freedom. He promised her a lavish wedding and a new home in Fort Lauderdale. She promised him forever.
